The Simsbury Light Opera Company (SLOCO) Choristers was formed by members of the SLOCO chorus following the tragedies that occurred on September 11, 2001. Drawn together by such a terrible loss, they felt motivated to help bring joy into their communities during the holiday season.
Over the years, members of the Memorial United Methodist Church choir in Avon, CT have joined their hearts and voices with us in song. Under the direction of Fran Wall, The SLOCO Choristers have performed in churches, synagogues, senior and assisted living centers throughout the area. They have also participated in the town of Simsbury's First Night, the Wadsworth Antheneum's Festival of Trees.
