We are seeking candidates for the following positions in our production staff for Mikado: (performances Spring '26)
Artistic Director
**This is a paid position**
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the artistic vision for the production, including casting (auditions in the Fall), setting a rehearsal schedule, and working with the technical crew on design.
- Provide guidance and support to the cast and crew throughout the production process, coordinating closely with the Music Director.
- Oversee the artistic quality and integrity of all performances.
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment that encourages creativity and growth.
Requirements:
- Proven relevant experience in the performing arts.
- Excellent knowledge of musical theater/opera/operetta repertoire and styles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of performers, directors, and production staff.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the rehearsal and performance schedule.
Musical director
**This is a paid position**

**This is a paid position**
Responsibilities:
- Study and be prepared to play the score of the show.
- Under the direction of the Musical Director, assist performers by playing the score of the show.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in the performing arts.
- Excellent knowledge of musical theater/opera/operetta repertoire and styles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of performers, directors, and production staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the rehearsal and performance schedule.
